Prayer

Hi,

  1 Thessalonians 5:17
[17]Pray without ceasing.

Jeremiah 29:12
[12]Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Matthew 26:41
[41]Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Romans 12:12

[12]Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Prayer isn't fancy words spewed from the lips in order to look good. It's communication between a father and His children.

   Sometimes it's a conversation, or a plea for help. It might be thank you's or praises. Prayer can even be a search for companionship or love. There are many reasons we reach out to our heavenly Father for ourselves and others. What ever the purpose of praying, let's keep in mind that we can talk to Jesus like He's physically sitting in front of us. We don't need proper words and flowery statements. We just need to open up our hearts and souls.

   Prayer should be a part of our daily walk. I can't make it through the day without conversing with my heavenly Father multiple times. Also, know that there is nothing to big or small for Him! He covers everything, everyone, everywhere. Just talk to Him today. Remember, if you can't find the words, the Holy Spirit will speak on your behalf.
