Good morning... Almost afternoon!
Yes I'm sharing another scripture about trust today. Well, you see... I share what God lays on my heart! That being said, this just confirms yesterday's post, that if we put our trust in Him we will be blessed!
I know, easier said than done sometimes, but as I mentioned yesterday if we don't put all of our trust in God... Things will go awry. None of us like it when things in our lives go south. Often we try to blame God or ask why. Has the thought ever come up "what did I do to cause this"?
God gives us freedom of choice. As with our children, you try to direct them, but eventually they make choices that don't turn out right. We can only protect and guide so much. Eventually the choice will be theirs. It's the same with us! If God wanted robots, He would have created them. Instead He wanted children in His image.
If we were to force someone to love and trust us, it wouldn't be the same as if it were freely given by them. God loves us and He celebrates when His children come to Him freely!
We're not in bondage to Him, but we are connected to Him. When someone brings you a gift, you're not obligated to say thank you. However, it is a blessing to them when we show a thankful heart in response to the gift. God gave us the ultimate gift, when He gave us His Son Jesus. If we can say thank you for a gift bag, why can't we say thank you for dieing for me?
The ultimate way to say thank you to Jesus is to put our complete trust in Him!
