His Word

Good morning,

I haven't posted in a few days because I took a few days away from posting and being on my apps as much. Still God's Word speaks to me daily and continues to guide me.

   Isaiah 40:8

[8]The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

People come and people go. Flowers bloom and flowers fade. Sun will shine and then comes the rain. There's happiness and then there's pain. No matter the loss or gain, His Word remains the same!

Psalms 119:105

[105] Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

God's Word not only last forever, but it lights up the darkness and shines out a path for us.

John 1:1

[1]In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

His Word has been here before the beginning and will always be. God's Word is God and God is His word.

John 17:17

[17]Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

   His Word is Truth!!!!

Colossians 3:16

[16]Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Wow, God's Word can lead us to wisdom, education, compassion and praise!!! That's not all His word can do. I have dug in on sleepless nights and received rest. I lean on it in times of great joy and when there's sadness. His Word has led me to where I should be and helped me when I got there. I find answers there and questions that need to be asked. There's correction, yet there's comfort as well. When my Daddy passed it was a tough time for me. I had post that popped up on Facebook where he commented how much he loves me. This brought me comfort. We can find the same comfort and reassurance in God's Holy Word! Just open it up and dive in. There's a sea of peace waiting for you.
