Rejoicing In Troubled Times

Published on 4 January 2024 at 10:07

 Good morning,

This was supposed to be yesterday's blog.I had a physically bad day yesterday. I also feel I was having a hard time facing this one that God has laid on my heart. I try to be as transparent with y'all as I possibly can. I feel that's the only way God can work through me to help others.

Rejoicing in hard times isn't always easy. However, there's usually something we can be thankful for. For instance, the first thing is : if we're children of God, then we have freedom from sin and damnation. If we look we can always find something to be grateful for. Acts 16:25-34 Tells of Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God while in prison. The results were, Acts 16:26

[26]And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

Acts 16:26,30-32

[26]And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

[30]And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

[31]And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

[32]And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

I only shared part of it, but please read the entire thing! It's wonderful! They prayed, praised, were freed and the guard what set free from sin! We never know the impact we have on others when we pray and praise during our storms in life! Remember others are always watching and see the impact life has on our walk as Christians. We need to be a living testimony and be humbly honest when we're having a tough time doing that!
