Good afternoon,
It has been about a week since I posted. We have had a lot going on and I have been burning my candle at both ends. I am still struggling with migraines and taking my husband to weekly appointments. I'm trying to get a promotion at work where I'll have more time for church and family. I love what I do, but I feel God wants me one on one with the seniors at our facility. That being said, we are going to discuss being used where you are.
Philippians 4:11
[11]Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
1 Corinthians 7:17
[17]But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.
Psalms 92:13-15
[13]Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.[14]They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;[15]To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
Jeremiah 29:11
[11]For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
James 3:18
[18]And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
No matter where we are or our situation, we should reflect Christ. Wherever He has you, you're there for a reason. God makes no mistakes. Remember, serving others for Christ not only blesses the receiver, but it Blesses you and our heavenly Father.
I find that I can get stuck in a funk at work, then a coworker comes in and needs spiritual love. By the time we're done, we both feel refreshed and nourished. Be the one that your coworkers, friends and family know that they can come to for spiritual love.
As His children, we eather bloom or we're dried up and no good! Do you want to be a beautiful flower or a dried up weed?
