Good morning,
John 13:12-17
[12]So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
[13]Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
[14]If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
[15]For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
[16]Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
[17]If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
There is none greater than our God, yet His one and only Son washed the feet of His disciples. If our Savior can humble Himself then surely we can too.
God gave Jesus and Jesus gave Himself for our sins. Again, there is none greater then He. If He can do this then why can't we give up our old ways and follow His will?
Jesus forgives ALL who come to Him. Why then are we so quick to hold onto grudges and keep forgiveness at arms reach. As I said there's none greater than He!
Jesus will seek God on our behalf and He prays for us. However, we on the other hand, promise to do these things and let other stuff get in the way.
Jesus didn't allow unholy acts in God's temples, but today it's allowed by His children.
We all need to have a "come to Jesus meeting". As His children we bare a responsibility to uphold His ways. The only way we can do this is with His power and strength. This means we Must let "Jesus Take The Wheel". Get in His word, talk to Him, let go and He will lead the way.
